The 2005 Legislative Session will end on April 11, 2005.  We will be working feverously until then.

 

House Bills:

HB355, Nontransient Noncommunity Water Systems - MTBE - Testing HB373, Environment - MTBE - Clean Gasoline Alternatives - Report HB374, Oil Discharge - Groundwater Contamination - Notification ALL passed out of the House of Delegates and are coming to my committee, Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs, for a vote.  All of three these bills will be heard in my committee on March 29, 2005.

 

 

 

Senate Bills: (I am a cosponsor of both of these bill.)

SB 351, Public Health - Children - Notice of Drinking Water Contamination, passed through the Senate on March 24 unanimously.  It now goes to the House for a hearing a vote. SB814, Environment - Maryland Oil Disaster Containment, Clean-Up and Contingency Fund and Oil Contaminated Site Environmental Cleanup Fund also passed unanimously in the Senate on March 24.  It is headed for the House.
